Total punishment to be based on the above two. The first consideration will be Degree of damage. Then Age of Victim. For example, if a person is raped with minor injury, the minimum punishment is 15 years rigorous imprisonment; if the victim is between 11 to 18, punishment will be 18 years; if the victim is 6 to 10, punishment is 25 years and if the victim is 5 years or younger, it will be 30 years.

And, it is crucial that these punishments are implemented within 3 to 6 months through fast tract special courts. The punishments pronounced and implemented has to be constantly updated in the media, thus giving a warning to those tempted to do the crime.

Unfortunately, we have many young offenders these days. They also need to be punished with a concession of in the term not exceeding 50% of the above.

 In case of gang rapes, the punishments should be to all those involved and the punishments terms has to increased by at least 25% as the victim is more harassed.
